This fits the United Moulders MK5 firing head and fits all Baltic automatic 150N Lifejackets made in the last 8 years.
The way to check is to look at the serial number on the reverse of your lifejacket the first 4 digits give you the year and then month of manufacture.
These cartridges are stamped with an expiry date, it is important that they are check on your lifejackets on an annual basis, they will require replacing every 3 years. This is because the spring - which operates the mechanism - is under contsant compression, and its force will be depleted, such that after the expiry date it may not activate the firing head.
This cartridge also fits other brands such as Seago & XM 150N Lifejackets.
It is in a hermatically sealed packet, which will not be degraded by humidity or moisture, and is therefore an ideal spare to carry on board.
