Live on stage or in the studio the Wishbone is a dream for sound engineers, stage technicians and guitarists - mic’ing up combos and cabs couldn’t be quicker or easier.
The Wishbone can literally be installed in seconds, by simply inserting the non-slip rubber coated base – the ‘Wishbone’ – through the combo/amp’s central carry handle, setting the required length of the mini-boom arm via the chunky twist grip adjuster. Then attach your mic holder and insert the mic!
The Wishbone has no footprint, and thus eradicates unwanted floor vibrations or stage clutter. The low profile also eliminates unsightly boom extension stands with wide obtrusive feet, whilst remaining fully adjustable and offering a full 360 degree rotation to find that all important sonic ‘sweet spot' in front of the speaker.
Professionally made in the USA from aircraft grade aluminium, Wishbone is strong, lightweight, very durable and extremely portable, neatly breaking down to fold away and almost disappear into the smallest of gear bags, taking up far less room and weight than conventional heavier stands. The entire unit weighs under 100gm.
The Junior's 'Wishbone' measures 3 5/8" (9.2cm) across which can be increased for larger handles by ½” (1.3cm) with the supplied foam adaptors. Effective boom length (if including a typical Shure mic holder) is 11.5” (29cm) to the centre of the mic.
